About Q-Card
Q-Card manufactures magnetic test cards and developers, and magnetic
stripe testing equipment. They also provide
magnetic test services, and supplies and supports smart card testing
and analysis equipment, software and accessories.
Brush Industries, Q-Card's sister
company provides long life, hardened magnetic heads and components and manufactures ticket and credit card readers,
smartcard readers and hybrid card readers.
The companies' products are used over 15 billion times a year in
over 40 countries including China, Hong Kong, Russia, France, UK,
South America, Spain, Africa, Australia and the U.S.
Additionally, Brush Industries is an ISO 9001 certified company with
first class machine shop, molding and ceramic coating capabilities.
Utilizing these resources Brush Industries fabricates and supplies a
variety of precision machined parts, plastic and metal injection
molded parts and precision mechanical assemblies. These products,
accounting for approximately 20% of consolidated annual revenues,
include wire bonding heads for the Semiconductor Equipment Industry
and precision components for the Data Storage, Aircraft
Instrumentation, Toll/Fare Collection and Defense markets.
Q-Card takes part in
magnetic stripe standards committees in the United States and
worldwide and actively participated on the committee that updated
ISO/IEC-7811-2, the worldwide low coercivity card standard and also
developed ISO/IEC-7811-6, the new worldwide high coercivity
specification, both from the International Organization for
Standardization.
