Q-Card Eases Card Testing with Introduction of the
Ground-Breaking Mag3x Portable
SUNBURY, PA – April 13, 2010 - Q-Card, one of the most trusted testing laboratories and test equipment manufacturers in the transaction and card industries, has unveiled the Mag3x Portable, the fourth model in the company’s popular Mag3x product line of card testers.
Changing the way card manufacturers and personalizers test the accuracy of their cards, the Mag3x Portable weighs only eight pounds, is cordless and battery operated (with an AC adapter) and is serviceable by the end user. Additionally, the Mag3x Portable is Windows based and displays unmistakable “pass” or “fail” graphics for each card. Users can also save detailed data on each card for future analysis and test many different parameters and characteristics of the magnetic stripe. Encoded ID1 plastic cards and all three ISO tracks can be tested with the Mag3x Portable.
