Q-Card Company Receives EMVCo Accreditation

SUNBURY, PA , February 18, 2015--Q-Card Company, an independent, third-party test lab, is now an EMVCo Accredited laboratory* for contactless card and mobile level 1, analog and digital testing.

With the abundance of recent data breaches at retailers and banks, the adoption of EMV in the U.S. is growing rapidly. EMV chip technology is becoming the global standard to combat payment fraud and ensures interoperability of chip cards and terminals worldwide. Contactless card and mobile level 1 testing is required by the major payment brands before products can be used in an EMV payment transaction. Q-Card can now conduct testing on behalf of card or mobile vendors who need level 1 type approval in order to sell their products. Q-Card can also perform EMV pre-certification and debugging for level 1 contact, contactless and mobile for new product development.
