ISO7816 Smart Card Testing Platforms
Test platforms for ISO7816 protocol emulate reader to card signals and analyze card responses, or spy on devices to capture and analyze signals between card and reader
- T=0 – for cards and readers using asynchronous half duplex character transmission
- T=1 – for cards and readers using asynchronous half duplex block transmission
The SWP (HCI, HDLC) protocol is also supported on the same platforms allowing concurrent testing of the ISO7816 and SWP contact interfaces on smart cards (UICC) used for mobile service management in NFC mobile phones.
